Política de Privacidad
Última actualización: 14 de septiembre de 2026 · English version below
Nunca llega a nuestros servidores.
No usamos cookies.
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
1. What we do NOT collect
Prohibido has no user accounts, requires no registration, and does not send your personal data, player names or game content to our servers. We use no tracking cookies and no third-party advertising.
Because there are no accounts, there is nothing to close and nothing to delete: no profile of you exists on any server of ours, no user list, no history tied to you as a person. This stays the same if you download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Data stored on your device
For your convenience, the app stores locally in your browser (localStorage): the preferred language, whether sound is on, the Premium unlock status, your answer to the age gate, and the card for each player you typed in, which includes their name, sex, who they are partnered with, who they say they are attracted to, and whether they accept playing with people who are not their partner.
Saying this plainly because it matters: attraction and orientation are sensitive data. We ask for them only so the game knows who each dare may be aimed at, they are stored on your own phone, they never reach our servers, and you can delete them by clearing the site data in your browser or by removing that player from the list.
2b. Anonymous usage statistics
To know whether the app works well and to improve it, a summary is sent when a session ends. This is the complete list of what it contains: the app version, a random identifier created when the app opens and destroyed when it closes, how many minutes it lasted, the approximate country and city, the time zone, the language, which games were used, the highest level reached, how many rounds were played, how many dares were completed and how many were passed, whether it was in a room and in which role, how many players there were, how many shared the same phone, whether Premium was unlocked, whether the app was installed to the home screen, and the device type.
We never send player names, their sex, their orientation, who they are partnered with, or challenge content. There are no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.
About your IP address, precisely. As on any website, our hosting provider, Netlify, receives your IP address in order to serve you the page. We use it at that moment to derive an approximate country and city, and that is the only thing we keep from it: we do not store your IP, we do not attach it to the session summary, and we do not use it to identify you or to follow you between visits. Each summary carries a random identifier that is generated when the app opens and disappears when it closes.
Now, with the same precision: Netlify does keep its own technical records of requests and of form submissions, including the IP, as part of its hosting service and its abuse protection. That sits on Netlify's side, under their privacy policy, and we neither consult it nor use it.
Summaries are stored in Netlify Forms, in the United States, and we only ever look at them in aggregate. We keep them for a maximum of 24 months.
If you open the app from Europe or the United Kingdom, this summary is not sent. We would rather not collect it than ask you for permission for something you do not need in order to play.
2c. Unlock code redemption log
When you activate Premium with an unlock code, we record which code was activated, when, the browser time zone, the language and the approximate country. We do this to spot leaked or resold codes, not to work out who you are: we do not store your name, your email or your IP address alongside that record. It is kept for a maximum of 24 months. This record is made from every country, Europe and the United Kingdom included, because without it we cannot protect the codes from fraudulent use.
3. Multiplayer mode
When using multiplayer rooms, phones connect directly to each other (peer-to-peer WebRTC) and the game does not pass through any server of ours. What travels from phone to phone is each player's card exactly as you typed it: name, sex, who they are partnered with, who they say they are attracted to and whether they accept playing with someone who is not their partner, plus the turn and the card in play. That information is seen by the other phones in your room, which are the people you chose to play with.
Two third parties are involved in setting up that connection, and you should know about them:
- Signaling server. We use our own and, if it does not answer, the public PeerJS service (0.peerjs.com). It only lets two phones find each other; it does not see the content of the game.
- TURN servers from Cloudflare. When a direct connection between two phones is not possible (firewalled networks, some mobile carriers), the game traffic is relayed encrypted through them. Cloudflare sees that a connection exists and its size; it cannot read the content.
4. Payments
Purchases made on the web are processed entirely by an external payment processor authorized for adult content. We do not receive or store card numbers. The processor communicates only the transaction confirmation to us so we can issue your unlock code. Please review the processor's privacy policy during checkout.
If you buy inside an application downloaded from the App Store or Google Play, that store processes the payment under its own privacy policy. In that case we receive no payment details, no name and no email address from you: only the confirmation that the purchase happened.
5. Correspondence
If you write to us at hello@prohibidoapp.com, we keep that correspondence for 24 months in order to help you and to evidence refunds, and delete it afterwards. We do not share it with third parties except under legal obligation. Email is hosted by Zoho Mail.
6. Minors
The service is for adults 18+ only, and the application requires that age to be confirmed before anything is shown. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has managed to use the application, or you find a way around that check, tell hello@prohibidoapp.com or call +1 954-406-1842 and we will fix it. See the Reports and Complaints page.
7. Your rights
Since we store no personal data about you on servers, most requests are resolved by clearing your browser's local data. For anything regarding correspondence or purchases, write to hello@prohibidoapp.com and we will answer within 30 days at most.
Wherever you live, you may ask us for access to whatever we hold about you, for its correction or deletion, for a copy in a readable format, and you may object to its processing. There is no charge and we will not treat you differently for asking.
8. If you are in Europe or the United Kingdom
The data controller is PROHIBIDO LLC, 5736 SW 116th Street Rd, Ocala, Florida 34476, United States, hello@prohibidoapp.com, +1 954-406-1842.
From Europe and the United Kingdom we do not send the session summary described in section 2b. What we do end up processing about you is: your email, if you write to us (legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, or performance of the contract where a purchase is involved); and, if you redeem a code, the record described in section 2c, which carries neither your name nor your email (legal basis: our legitimate interest in preventing code fraud). Both are kept for 24 months and hosted in the United States.
The player cards, which include Article 9 special-category data (sexual orientation), are not processed by us: they stay on your phone and, in a room, are shared between the phones you chose. They never reach our servers.
We decide the Europe and United Kingdom exclusion by reading your browser time zone, which is an approximation: if you travel, or your phone is set to another zone, it can get it wrong in either direction. Write to us and we will correct it for your case.
What the app stores in your browser (language, Premium status and player names) is necessary for the game to work and never leaves your device, so it requires no consent. We use no cookies.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
9. If you are in California
In the past twelve months we have collected these categories of information: technical and approximate-location identifiers (the session summary in section 2b), and the content of your email if you have written to us. The purpose is to operate and improve the app and to support you.
Sensitive information. The CCPA treats sexual orientation as sensitive personal information. The app asks who you are attracted to so that it knows who each dare may be aimed at. That answer stays on your phone and, in a room, is seen by the phones you chose to play with. We do not collect it, do not store it, and do not use it to infer anything about you, so there is nothing to limit and nothing to opt out of on our side.
We do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines those terms, we never have, and we do not process information about anyone under 16. We do not use your data for targeted advertising and we do not pass it to advertising intermediaries.
You may exercise your rights to know, delete and correct by writing to hello@prohibidoapp.com.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page with its date. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will also announce it inside the app.
